I’m Rachelle and also with Chuck — the heart behind Willow Harper Photography. I’m a born and raised California girl whose heart belongs to Wisconsin, mama of five adult children, daycare owner, concert lover, sunset chaser, and someone deeply passionate about capturing people in a way that feels honest, emotional, and real. Whether I’m photographing families, couples, newborns, seniors, weddings, or boudoir sessions, my goal is always the same — creating images that feel like you. The messy, beautiful, connected, confident, emotional, imperfectly perfect moments that deserve to be remembered exactly as they felt.
The name Willow Harper came from two things that have always felt like home to me — willow trees and music. I’ve always loved the beauty and freedom of willow trees: soft but strong, grounded but flowing freely. Pair that with my lifelong love of music, emotion, storytelling, and creativity, and you get Willow Harper Photography. I take so much pride not only in the final images I deliver, but in the entire experience I create for my clients. And if you have a creative vision or wild idea for your session? I’m all in. I truly believe the best sessions happen when we create something together that feels personal, meaningful, and completely you.

My approach
I believe the best photos happen when you feel comfortable enough to simply be yourself. My approach is a mix of gentle guidance and real connection — giving you direction when you need it while still leaving room for the natural moments to unfold. I never want your session to feel stiff, overly posed, or stressful. I want it to feel easy, fun, emotional, and authentic to who you are.
I pay attention to the little things — the movement, the emotion, the in-between glances, the chaos, the quiet moments, and the details you may not even realize are happening in real time. Whether we’re documenting your growing family, your love story, your confidence through boudoir, or a huge milestone in your life, my goal is to create images that feel timeless and honest while still feeling artistic and intentional.
Most importantly, this experience is about you. Your ideas matter to me. Your vision matters to me. I’m here to collaborate, hype you up, guide you, and create something that genuinely feels personal from beginning to end.
